WINCHESTER MODEL 42 PUMP ACTION .410 GA.

Description:

A collectable Winchester made in 1951 and rare to find in Australia.
The gun has obviously had some use over the years. I purchased it in 2013 from Safari Firearms for $1,400 on my Collectors Permit.

Bluing is very thin and worn off in places. No rust and no pitting, bore is bright. Buttstock has marks and dents from use. There is a crack at the top of the buttplate.
It has a 3 inch chamber, 26 inch barrel with Full choke.

Category C license required.

The .410 model 42 is basically a scaled down version of the Model 12 Winchester 12ga. First released in 1933 and production ended in 1963. Approx. 165,000 were made in that 30 year period.
This gun is 71 years old (made in 1951)
