Description:
1935 custom made German Gewehr 88 Mauser, 1890 model. Turkish markings A.S.F.A. Ankara in 8 mill caliber (carbine) Mannlicher rifle 5 shot bolt action. I have had this rifle for 25 years and have fired approx 50 rounds through it. Very smooth, shoots well. Chamber, bore, rifling, timber work and all other parts in very good condition. This rifle is a low four digit serial number and all other numbers of rifle match.
The stock has two shields embedded in the woodwork. Right hand shield inscribed Gewehr 88 Amberg 1890. This gun is one of a kind and unlikely to be found in this condition.
1. 58 x once fired, full sized, trim pin cleaned and polished, 8 mill Mauser (Winchester brass).
2. Set of Hornady custom-grade 8 mill dies. (As new).
3. 8 mill projectiles, .323 caliber. 135 x Hornandy 125 grain spire point.
4. 61 x Sierra 150 grain Spitzer (New, in boxes).
