Description:
This is a well used broomhandle Mauser which has sat in the safe for the last 50 years. Made by Mauser at Oberndorf. Main component serial numbers match, but stock and magazine floorplate are different. The serial number indicates that the pistol was made in 1917 -18.
I fired 20 rounds through it in 2003, stripped and cleaned it and returned to the safe. The bore is fair with clear rifling but evidence of pitting. Blueing coverage is about 50%. The holster stock has a crack which is visible in the photo. Buyer to pay fees & any transport.
Fire it, admire it or pretend to be Winston Churchill or Han Solo.
