Collector's piece, as it left the Factory, and now after cleaning off the storage grease in October 2019, and firing 50 rounds, barrel run in.

Matching nos: Yes - Nose cap, forewood, rear sight, knox form, barrel, bolt. Also bolt and receiver identifier matching no X3507
Research of other markings show the parts for this rifle were made at Lithgow (LSAF proof marks), Bathurst Rifle Factory No 2, Orange SAF-3, Slazenger Annex, Wellington Annex - research papers will be provided, with some photos of the LSAF lathes in use at the time.
All wood by Slazenger, some minor bruising consistent with age
Comes with: pull through, oil bottle, sling, bayonet made 6 '43 bayonet unsharpened, in Mangrovite scabbard, with leather frog (Light horse reproduction)
