Description:
The Marlin Model 56 is a 22Lr with a short throw (25 degree's) lever action, excellent for fast reload with just a flick of your fingers.
These are quite rare and this is from the first year of manufacture 1955 with the Steel Receiver, in 1956 the receiver was changed to Aluminium. Also the early Model 56 had a Serial No. but this practice was discontinued.
Comes with a 7 & 10 shot magazine which are also very hard to find, also fitted with 2 piece Weaver Mounts.
