Lee Enfield (SMLE) No 4 .303 Sporter par excellence

Description:

This rifle has been in one family since being bought unfired (sporterised and marketed by Parker Hale) in the early 70s. After purchase, it was beautifully re-stocked by Ross Waghorn (in his early Canberra days), and modified, polished and blued by gunsmith Noel King, who fitted it with an Ausinel bridge mount and 4 x 40W Weaver Wide View Micro-track scope (steel tube). The rifle has a single-stage trigger and has never had much use. It used to shoot very accurately, but has not been fired for many years, just sitting in the gun safe in need of a new home. It is fitted with sling swivel studs and a Pachmayr ventilated recoil pad.

The rifle is currently licensed and situated in the ACT.
