Description:
Remington Model 783 .30-06 Springfield. All original full wooden stock. Rifle feels and fires as if just out of the box. Only spent a few days at the range sighting in original scope and the current one fixed to the rifle - ( BUSHNELL TROPHY XTREME RIFLE SCOPE 2.5-15X50MM-DOA600I ).
Apart from range days where approx 30 rounds used, i have only used the rifle on 3 hunts and unfortunately only 1 shot fired ( for sighting confirmation ).
Bolt good - no damage or rough treatment. Always stored in bolt bag when not in rifle.
There are a few scuff marks on the timber stock as seen in the pics - from rough terrain/scrub bashing when stalking. Rifle has never been dropped or mishandled in anyway.
Will sell with scope which is a Bushnell as pictured. Has the illuminating retinal/cross-hair dial which works great.
