First: it is definitely not .30 carbine but its correct calibre 300 Sherwood is not in the SSAA Sales system.
This is a Belgium made Martini action single shot rook rifle in .300 Sherwood. it is an obsolete calibre that does not require registration. (check your state rule) It has a Leige (belgium) proof mark for post 1893 Blackpowder breach loading rifles. it is marked JWC (possible manufacturer?) it came from a deceased estate from the Vict High country. Octagonal barrel, bore has visible rifling but poor. Action is fully functioning. it has been reblued at some time in its life.
