Colt 1911A1 US ARMY 45ACP circa 1941 (by serial number reference)
I’m a former licensed firearms dealer and acquired this Colt during an Amnesty period, had it registered, and then added it to my collection.
It’s complete, original, operational, and comes with Holster and ammo pouch as shown in the photos. The holster came with the Colt, it may not be original, but it could be. The ammo pouch is definitely not original, being dated 1943 on the back.
The Colt shows all the normal wear and rub marks of an operational firearm that’s been holstered and worn, but there is no proof of any actual service.
I’m selling, as I’m cutting back on my collection in semi-retirement.

Inspection can be organised at a suitable south-east Queensland Dealer, but only with Cat H license holders.
Transfer by PTA at an agreed firearms dealer in south-east Queensland.
Otherwise, interstate or regional Queensland + $100 transfer/freight to your local firearms dealer (except WA, it’s just too hard).
