Douglas XX premium air gauged chrome moly 1:9 twist, brand new sporter in the white, crowned, chambered in 6.5-06 Ackley improved and threaded for Savage standard size receivers and measures 655mm (25 5/8 inches) long.. It is the twin of the barrel fitted to my Savage 111 that shoot Sierra 100 grain hollow point varminter bullets at 3500fps into a 5 shot group of 0.625 inches bare barrel and now shoots the same load into 0.48 inches after fitting a shielded muzzle brake. I bought them as a pair many years ago and was keeping this one as a spare but don't believe I will ever use it. It will need to be stamped for calibre and blued / cerakoted prior to fitting and has been coated in Zerust oil and kept in my safe for years. Asking $550 including postage.
