With the underlever action, the barrel remains fixed with just the lever below the barrel operating to cock the rifle, meaning increased ongoing accuracy.
To load, you simply cock it then drop a pellet (or BB) into the chamber at the top of the rifle. This is great for safety, as you can easily check clear without breaking the barrel so is great for monitoring young shooters.
