Description:
Schmidt-Rubin IG1911 Long Rifle - 1916 Production, privatised in 1956.
Typical of Swiss rifles, great bore and strong rifling with matching numbers, some bumps and marks on stock from use. The original cracked/broken and perished rubber bolt handle pieces have been replaced with new production items in grey.
Always cleaned and stored with the correct Swiss automattenfett. Shoots great, great trigger and very accurate. The long rifles are considered one of, if not the most accurate Swiss service rifles.
