Back on the market after a sale fell through This H&R Officers model (26 " barrel) .45-70 is in excellent condition with outstanding colour case hardened finish on the action..The barrel retains near perfect deep bluing & the bore is as new .This rifle has had very little use over the years & is in outstanding condition . H&R only produced some 5000 of these models & few made it to Australia . Highly collectable these days, back in the us. The stockwork on this example is very classy with well executed checkering & stock finish.
