Description:
Enfield M17 / P14 (M17 receiver, P14 bolt and magazine well) hybrid rifle in 303-25 calibre in very good condition.
Fitted with scope mounts, Dayton Traister trigger, cock on opening kit and an original Fajen stock and 25 1/2 inch barrel.
The rifle would have been converted in probably the early sixties and has either a Sportco or Sprinter barrel, 1 in 12 twist, that is still tight on a bore gauge and shoots very well. I have owned this rifle since the 1980s but it has not seen a lot of use for the last couple of decades. Sadly, I am getting on and don't have anywhere to use it now.
I restored the stock and touched up the blueing 3 or 4 years ago and have only used it since then to work up some loads using modern ADI powder.
Does not come with the scope shown in the photos.
