The CZ 557 Range Rifle was CZ's entry into the Canadian military's procurement program to replace the Ranger's No. 4 Mk. 1 rifles. After Tikka won the bid, being the only manufacturer willing to permit a licensed copy to be produced on Canadian soil, CZ marketed their entrant to the civilian market. I purchased this rifle new in 2017 for use on pigs on my family's property. In that time it has fired approximately 200 rounds. Selling due to lack of recent use. The magazine is a proprietary double-stack 10-rounder, though 5-round magazines are also available. Stock is free-floated beech. Comes in at around 3.3kg and 1m in overall length.
20in barrel is 1-10" twist.
Only blemishes are shown in the second photo: a scratch on the front sight ramp and a depression in the butt (which could be steamed out if you wanted).
Includes the Dingo branded Australian made leather sling and the original paperwork.
Bore guide not included.
