Description:
Deposit taken. S&W model 41 target pistol manufactured at the original Springfield factory. This example comes with a 5.5 inch barrel and a 7 inch barrel fitted with a weaver rail for scope or red dot mounting. Red dot in photo not included but will provide pne(I have a choice of two or a Bushnell Phantom 1.3x pistol scope). Additionally there is a aftermarket grip together with a factory grip(with thumb rest) both walnut. Also two well functioning 10 round magazines. Research on the serial number indicates manufacture after 1960 and well before 1969. Averaging out the number made over those years a reasonable guess is 1964-66. Those examples have superior blueing, better machining finish and fitting together with good triggers compared to post 1993 ones. The shorter barrel has a small loss of the brightness of blueing and the longer barrel is as good anything of that age can be. Please call anytime for any further information or photos on 0433 161272
