Description:

Cannon / field carriage / black powder / ready for proofing .

One of a kind field cannon with an exact half size barrel with the crests of captain cook.
Barrel was cast in a foundry down in Victoria with a solid steel sleeve and welded endcap installed. This is 5 times stronger than a normal cast cannon.
The bore was then machined to 43mm . Note , there is no shot hole drilled yet , and no licence is required to purchase it.
It is your choice to have a gunsmith proof it , and then register it with weapons licencing.
The carriage was all hand built by a true tradesmen , Right down to the hardwood spoked wheels.
All steel fittings on the carriage were painstakingly period correct copied and forged by a blacksmith.
The attention to detail is outstanding , including the browning of the
barrel.
Weights and measurements-
Barrel - bore 43mm , length 900mm , weight roughly 80kg .
Rims - 830 high , 40mm wide .
Wheelbase - 950 wide.
Overall length - 1850mm.
