Description:
1842 Pattern Lovells Musket .75 cal smoothbore.
All metal in excellent condition , barrel coated in cosmoline which has been removed to show proof markings and barrel condition. Barrel internal condition excellent no rust or corrosion some staining, external condition no rust or corrosion. Stock excellent for age with minor dings and dents. Stock markings crown 15 and crown 16 near rear of trigger guard, 196, R.?annon possibly O,C,G. on LHS near lock screw. Lock has no rust or corrosion with markings crown VR, Tower 1849, crown ^. Nipple saver attached to swivel front trigger guard by chain. Please see photos for extra details.
