A great piece of history in great, used condition.
Matching serial numbers on receiver and bolt D17554, barrel 85244.
I have not used it much but it shoots well (but high at 100m) and the barrel and rifling look perfect to me. It is a 1942 model.
There are some markings on the butt (I cannot make out the details), the trigger guard (BA), behind the trigger guard (something over B) and other markings. I have never done any research but there are many references if someone wants to go down that path.
I have unused ammo (and brass) you can have if you can pick it up.
For sale, less than I paid for it, at $950 but I guess negotiable. Buyer to cover postage and costs.
