Qld Maple timber, full wood
Matching numbers on barrel, bolt and action , barrel numbered to action and 1/57 dated, un numbered armourers nose cap fitted with A* stamp., action stamped 6 ( Tasmania) and rack No 457
Stock has faint but visible stampings as per photo of rack number 457 , d/|\d , A* disc and 6 ( Tasmania issue ) etc
Has had some old surface cleaning of magazine ( original No111 type with mk6 and 7 catch ) and some surface rusting/ staining from its long history.
Barrel has good visible rifling, and is headspaced correctly at .067- .068 for use , with go - no go set.
Inherited/ Transferred from late father
