Description:
Selling my Mauser M96 in 308 win as I need to make room in the safe.
Condition - Presents near new - timber stock excellent, bluing excellent, rifling excellent.
I purchased this three years ago. After purchase and on inspection with a borescope, it appeared that this rifle had fired very few rounds. I would've shot 20 rounds through this at one range visit and then cleaned and stored it.
It is my understanding that after the war, a company overseas rechambered these into 308 - There are proofing marks on the barrel "308"
Comes with a Tasco 4x40 scope. Shame to let it go - its light, accurate and in amazing shape.
