Description:
Volquartsen Summit Toggle Action Rifle in 22LR.
This is one of the lightest and most compact 22lr toggle action rifle set ups I think there may be in Australia. I've been putting this together since 2023, and I'm looking to move it on to fund my next project.
This rifle is used, but it is in excellent condition. It comes with the following:
>Volquartsen carbon fibre (wrapped, its not a slip-on sleeve) stainless bull barrel with forward compensator. 14.375"
>PWS Extended magazine release
>Magpul MOE Carbine Stock (fitted with Enhanced rubber butt pad for a little more length of pull)
>Magpul MOE Grip (Leather wrapped, easily removed if desired, its just tied on) AND forward mounted vertical grip.
>2x Ruger 10 round magazines (Note, I tired a genuine 15 round Ruger mag and it would not stay seated. No problem with 10 round mags though)
>MLOK mounted QD point on the chassis (generic brand)
>Shims to adjust the headspace included, if you want to experiment with head-spacing yourself.
Scope and Olight mount NOT included, but I can provide 1" rings and an MLOK pic rail segment if desired.
I'll make note that the cycling of this rifle is easily done with one finger, with the hand kept on the pistol grip. The trigger pack on the Volquartsen summit rifles are also quite amazing! Much better than those found on the original PWS T3 Summit rifles (I owned a PWS Summit before this that did not compare to the Volquartsen). It is also free of some of the feeding issues that were found in the earlier PWS model.
This rifle is perfectly set up for field work, and is a heap of fun on the range. Definitely turns heads! I have used it for some "Long Gong" 300m target shooting with a more suitable scope and while it was capable, the short, light barrel lent it more for off-hand shooting.
