Using their proprietary reciever, boltand 13 inch barrel( with muzzle brake) together with a custom stock and a Kidd 8 ounce trigger. The only part that is recognisably Ruger is the 10 round rotary magazine of which there are five. Has enlarged magazine release and manual bolt hold-open facility. In my hands it is as accurate as my Anschutz Exemplar bolt action pistol. A piccatinny rail allows mounting of any kind of optic. In a standing position a red dot or a prone position any scope can be used, you don’t need a long eye relief or at most a scout style(8 inch eye relief).
