Description:
Marlin 25 M , .22 wmr rifle and scope .
Original JM marked , with 7 shot magazine , Bolt action rifle, fitted with a reduced power trigger spring , making the trigger pull about 2lb.
No cracks or gouges in timber , No surface rusting or damage to metal work, fitted with an original and operable , period Tasco 3-9×32 scope with flip up covers, fitted with windage claw type rimfire mounts, and quick release sling studs and Uncle Mikes cordura sling .
Rifle has shot 250rds in its life . And has always been cleaned and cared for.
Has a few marks on timber stain from carrying, and some marks on outside of scope tube , but is optically and operationally in very good working order. Complete with both front and rear sights .
Was bought new by me , what feels like a long time ago (1986) , but its role has been replaced by a Hornet.
Also have a 2nd , 7 shot Marlin magazine and a spare reduced power trigger spring , for the rifle , by negotiation.
