Description:
A beautiful example of an early Fabrique Nationale Herstal (FNH) Model 1912 Luxery single shot boys rifle.
Has been lovingly refurbished with the barrelled action having been re-blued and the stock refinished. All parts are original to the rifle, with matching serial numbers.
The Luxery model had the additional features of higher grade wood, Checkering and Price of Wales grip.
Weighs in at less than 1.8kg with a lovely light trigger pull of 1kg, this rifle presents as close to new as it gets for a rifle of this age.
All factory stampings and proof marks clearly visible. Bore is bright and shiny with crisp rifling.
Although marked as 22L, fires low pressure 22LR perfectly and safely, especially CCI Quiet or any subsonic target or HP rounds. Accuracy is excellent.
A great example of simpler times when quality counted for something. Ideal trainer for new shooters to teach the basics of safety and marksmanship, or to just enjoy a distant past when we had fewer concerns and enjoyment of the basic things in life.
