For Sale: Lithgow LA102 .223 Varmint (Purchased 2023)
Selling my Lithgow LA102 .223, purchased new from Mansfield Hunting & Fishing in 2023. I originally asked for the most accurate .223 they had for a dedicated “farm rifle,” and this was their recommendation.
This rifle has been an absolute tack driver and has performed flawlessly. It feeds and ejects perfectly with no issues, and has been extremely accurate in both target shooting and field use.
Round count is approximately 250–300.
Condition is very good overall, with only minor cosmetic marks under the butt of the stock from normal use.
The only reason for sale is that I’ve shifted to more walking-based thermal hunting, and the rifle is simply heavier than what I want to carry in the paddocks.
Optional extra: Burris Veracity 3–15x50 scope available for an additional $900.
Located in Melbourne. Happy to complete transfer through a licensed dealer at Boronia or Tullamarine (or nearby).
These retail for around $2,150 new — asking $1,700.
