Description:
Free recoil captive one piece rifle rest. This rest has been manufactured by a toolmaker so that he could continue to participate in 50m rimfire benchrest as he became progressively disabled. It was made to accommodate a CZ 457 LRP but would equally suit other rifles.
Recoil management is via front and rear linear bearings with buffers at the end of the recoil stroke. Gross elevation and lateral target alignment is via top and left side knurled hand wheels with minor final adjustment via the knurled coaxial joystick on the left side. The coaxial motion can be locked in position using the lever on the top arm.
Height adjustable feet on the front cross rail.
Fore end clamp width maximum 72 mm.
Weight about 8-10kg. Made of polished aluminium.

This is a cracker one of a kind custom bit of kit. Very sturdy and extremely well made
The owner regularly achieved 250/250 on the SSAA IRB 50m targets with the CZ 457.
Sadly he is now too unwell to shoot at all and hence the sale.
