I purchased this as a brand-new set up about 10 years ago and have found the Merkel 30-06 a perfect platform for follow up shots on large-size game without moving the rifle from the shoulder or taking the eye off the scope.
I would estimate about 150 rounds have been through it over this time being predominantly used as a hunting rifle, with other rifles in my collection used for range / target shooting.
Condition is very good to excellent as I have always used a gun-bra and barrel tape in the field as pictured; and if you do the same it will still look immaculate in another 10 years.
Only selling due to NSW category change to straight pull actions.
