Fairly good condition for the age
Manufactured 1941 as factory stamped on the frame (suitable as a Pre 1946 collectable handgun)
The spurless DAO hammer and stamped * following Mk1 indicates it to be a model developed for the British Tank Corps (unknown if used in this capacity).
The service history of the revolver is unknown, as this revolver was handed in during an Amnesty period around 2013.
It’s complete, and the cylinder pivot hinge has no play.
Bore is an estimated 75% with a small amount of pitting in the groves between the rifling.
