Description:

German Mauser Mod 98 originally chambered in 7x57. Rechamber and remarked 7.62 Model 98 Duo.45 for the newly formed Isreali nation. Barrel stamps include the original chambering of 7x57 and the refurbished to 7.62x51.

An excellent addition to your WW2 or historic collection.

Israeli proof marks are evident on the weapon as well as a number of German proof marks in tucked away places.

This rifle presents in very good condition with a few bruises to the timber. The blued finish remains in a good condition and the rifling is also in good condition.

Also includes a reproduction sling and bayonet.

The rifle shoots well and produces good results (for a mil spec rifle 80 years old) at the one hundred meter mark.
