Description:
I purchased this rifle with plans of having it restored. Unfortunately, I didn't get started. It is in the condition I purchased it and if you really want to give it a new lease of life, it would be the ideal starting point for the project. The barrel was neglected but will still shoot safely. I have fired it. It has no sights.
Most of the finish (Colour Case Hardening) remains on the action. It is a heavy octagonal to round barrel and could be lining to keep the same profile and original markings. The butt plate was broken when I purchased the rifle and I did find a Stateside source for a replacement but lost the details.. Price is from my Dealer to your Dealers door beyond that, it is your responsibility.
