Description:
J Jongmans custom job from the 80s. Rifle babied from first owner and it does not show it's age (1982). Bought of a good mate.
The chamber is 220 Wilson Arrow, an improved chambering of the 220 Swift. Rifle listed as 220 Swift as there are no options on the website for this wild cat.
The barrel is stainless steel 25 inches and a 1 in 14 twist. Free floated. Barrel is not a varmint barrel but tapered to about 16mm at the muzzle. Bore is excellent and picture of the crown is included. Trigger is crisp and breaks at 3lbs. Rifle is an accurate shooter with a variety of loads.
The wood has some cosmetic marks as you'd expect for a rifle of this age, but nothing major or ugly.
Recently changed recoil pad. Pachmayr 0.6 thick. Professionally fitted by Rob Bloomfield on the Sunshine Coast.
Price includes Simplex Seating and Resize die for 220 Wilson Arrow. Simplex 5/8 - 7/8 adapter to be used with more common presses from Hornady, Lee etc... You don't need a Simplex press. These dies and adapter are BRAND NEW and never used.
In person transfer if on the Sunshine Coast area and including down south at Cleaver Firearms. If posting to your dealer will be $75.
