Description:
For over 40 years Sportco rifles were made in South Australia.
The Sportco 62 was designed by Jack Warne in Australia and Winchester sold the same rifle in the USA as their Model 320.
Jack Warne later moved to the USA and started the Kimber Rifle Co. in Oregon.
This is a fine example of the Model 62 that would suit any collector of Australian made firearms. It has a few handing marks due its age but presents as a fine looking rifle. 10 shot magazine.
It also comes with a brand new scope from that period with the price of £3-19-6. (3 pounds 19 shillings & sixpence.) written on the box.
It is a Japanese made 4x15 with fine cross hairs and it would appear that it has never been mounted on a rifle.
Local pickup and you get the 50 rounds of 1970's IMI ammunition as well.
